Ride a mountain bike through Guimarães, in a relaxed and fun way, while discovering its natural and cultural heritage!

The tour starts at the Arts Platform, passes through the historical center of Guimarães through the main streets and squares and pedagogical garden, a zone used by local inhabitants to grow various agricultural products.

Because it is a more peaceful return, we take advantage of the many different paths along fields and farms, which lead us to the beginning of the ascent to the chapel of Senhora dos Montes.

This is where it will be put to the test because the chapel is located at 390 meters of altitude. However, do not worry as you will arrive at your destination where you will be rewarded by the beautiful landscape of Minho. In times past, this was a place where pilgrimages are held to ask Nossa Senhora do Monte for protection for herds and crops.

In the descent we will use paths according to the participants’ skills, to return to the calm of the plain and origin of the course.
